The ePlacing Business Implementation Group (ePBIG) recently met for a hybrid two-day face-to-face meeting in Milan to discuss group member updates and imminent steps regarding testing and implementation procedures.
The Ruschlikon ePlacing community uses the ACORD ePlacing Implementation Guide 1.3 for internal mappings and infrastructure projects to get ready for rollout. In parallel, the group supports ACORD in the XML/JSON alignment work which is awaited by various companies before kicking off own peer-to-peer business testing next year.
The ePlacing next major milestone is the release of the ACORD ePlacing Implementation Guide 1.4 by end of December 2024. It aims to include the additional codes for facultative placement, along with the XML/JSON alignment details provided by ACORD.
