Following the devastation from Hurricane Ida in Louisiana, where more than a million people are without power, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) is calling for support from the insurance industry to help meet the immediate needs of communities throughout the region.
IICF has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank in the greater region of South Louisiana to provide those in need with non-perishable food, toiletries, diapers, and more in the days and weeks to come. Throughout the month of September, all proceeds from IICF’s Southeast Fill the Truck food drive will directly benefit these relief efforts.
